Hiiii everyone! 👋

I'm Sinead, and I was so excited to join the Cloudsmith family back in August 2025 as their HR Coordinator! I'm here to help make sure everything in the HR world runs super smoothly.

Before I landed this job, I had a blast working with other local tech startups. My whole thing is helping to build amazing teams that are happy, motivated, and love coming to work. So, when I saw the chance to join Cloudsmith, I jumped at it! I just knew this was the perfect place to continue that journey.

So, What's My Job All About?

Honestly, my favorite part of HR is making sure everyone has a fantastic experience here, from the very first "hello" to... well, hopefully, we never have to say goodbye!

I love being that friendly face who welcomes you to the team and helps you get settled in. I'm a bit of an organising whiz (if I do say so myself!) and I get to use those skills to help with everything from bringing new people on board to finding awesome training opportunities and making sure your benefits are all sorted. No two days are ever the same, which I absolutely love!

Here’s a little peek at what I’m busy with:

🛠️ Welcoming You to the Team! (Onboarding) Once you’ve said "yes!" to joining our amazing team, I'm the one who gets to kick things off! I'll send over your contract, get all the important paperwork ready, and I'll be your main point of contact for any questions. We'll have chatted plenty by your first day, so we’ll already be friends when we officially meet during your induction!

📄 Smooth Goodbyes (Offboarding) If the time ever comes for someone to move on, I'm here to help make their exit as easy as possible. I'll make sure they have all the info they need and are smoothly offboarded from all our systems.

🎓 Learning & Growing! (L&D) I get to chat with managers about new skills their teams want to learn. Whether it’s something super specific for your job or fun soft skills, I’m on the case to find the best courses and resources to help you shine!

🎉 All the Perks! (Benefits Management) I make sure everyone gets signed up for all their amazing benefits right when they start. And when it's time to renew them, I’ll be working hard to make sure our perks are totally top-notch and competitive!

🌟 Anything & Everything Else! You never know what a day in HR will bring! Whatever pops up—a fun new project, a question, or a new challenge—I'm always here and happy to jump in and lend a hand.

And When I'm Not in HR Mode?

I'm a proud dog-mummy to the most adorable (and mischievous!) cocker/lab puppy. She keeps me SO busy and will try to eat anything she can find! 😂

When I'm not chasing her around, you'll almost always find me in the kitchen. I absolutely love to cook and spend my weekends trying out new recipes I find on TikTok!
